1. The Service
Aedryn (the “Service”), operated by Caedryn Limited (“we”, “us”), provides financial market data, screening tools, alerts, and analytical models derived from public regulatory filings, principally the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s EDGAR system. Access is provided on a subscription basis under these Terms.
2. Not Investment Advice
The Service is a data and research tool. Nothing on the Service constitutes investment advice, a recommendation, an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy any security. Valuation models (including DCF, WACC, and comparable-company outputs) are mathematical illustrations driven by stated assumptions, not opinions on the merits of any security. We are not a registered investment adviser or broker-dealer in any jurisdiction. You are solely responsible for your investment decisions.
3. Data Sources and Accuracy
Data is extracted from public SEC filings and other public sources. Where practicable, each data point links to its source filing (“provenance”). Fields that cannot be verified are shown as empty rather than estimated. While we work to keep the data accurate and current, filings may contain issuer errors and extraction may lag or fail; the Service is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability, or fitness for a particular purpose. Official records remain those of the SEC and the issuers.
4. Accounts and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are billed in advance via our payment processor (Stripe) on a monthly or annual cycle and renew automatically until cancelled. You may cancel at any time with effect from the end of the current billing period; fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law. Seats are per named user; credentials may not be shared. We may suspend accounts engaged in scraping, redistribution, or resale of the data without a separate written licence.
5. Permitted Use
You may use the data internally for research, analysis, and business development. You may quote limited extracts with attribution to Aedryn (aedryn.com). Bulk redistribution, resale, or use of the data to build a competing data product requires a separate data licence.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for trading losses, lost profits, or any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, and disputes are subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
